11 of America’s ’20 Worst Chain Restaurants’ are in Rockford

Just like local joints, some chain restaurants are better than others. For us in Rockford, 11 of the "worst" are here.

According to MSN, the magazine "Nation’s Restaurant News... surveyed 37,339 diners, rating the chains on 10 categories: atmosphere, cleanliness, craveability, food quality, likely to recommend, likely to return, menu variety, reputation, service and value."

I was surprised by their findings notably the restaurant that ranked as the worst.

MSN says BDub's has "the lowest ratings for cleanliness, menu variety and customers being likely to recommend it."

I never thought that Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar is the worst of the worst. Matter of fact the most recent review on Yelp gives the Rockford location a glowing review.

Sara L. said "Stephanie the waitress was amazing.  We had a party of 30 and they were so wonderful and accommodating. They were ready and waiting just with a heads up phone call. Stephanie the waitress was the best!!!"

Most of the local Yelp reviews are pretty standard so I would take each with a gigantic grain of salt.

More so, I tend to go against negative reviews on Yelp and lists like this. It makes me want to try the restaurants for myself.
