June 7th is Global Forgiveness Day. Sure the root of this holiday might have a deep meaning to it, but we can have some fun. After all, it is the Monday after a summer holiday weekend.

It's isn't too often that the 4th of July falls on a Friday, but I'm pretty sure the entire country loved it and used it as an excuse to have three full days of BBQs, cocktails and fireworks. Maybe even four days for some of us. We might need to ask for some forgiveness from our friends, family and stomachs this morning.

11 Things You Might Need Forgiveness For After the 4th Of July
  • Forgetting to invite your friend to Saturday's trip to Wisconsin, you thought she was busy.
  • Eating two giant cookie ice cream sandwiches with your nephew, it would've just been one but he was going to throw his away
  • Spilling your girlfriend's best friend's secret to her sister-in-law. Oops, you thought she knew.
  • Doing shots of tequila every time you heard someone say 'Murica. No need to explain this one.
  • Forgetting your feet when you put bug spray on, who knew bugs like toes and ankles so much?
  • Missing the fireworks show on Friday by ten minutes. Traffic. At least you have Instagram pics to show your kids.
  • Forgetting to put the vodka in the jell-o shots. This is better than the opposite.
  • Sending that text message to your friend's sister at 2am. He'll be fine with it if you get married someday.
  • The entire bag of chips you accidentally ate by yourself, we've all been there buddy.
  • Missing song #3 on the Firecracker Countdown each time it aired. We understand, sometimes you have to answer the phone. Song #3 was One Republic, Counting Stars.
  • What you look and feel like at work today. That's the good thing about holiday weekends, at least we all feel the same.
