Anthony Borges is fighting for his life after being shot multiple times while trying to protect 20 of his fellow classmates at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.

As the shooter was was moving through the school, Anthony and his classmates ran to find a classroom to hide in. He was the last one to go into the classroom. When the shooter approached the classroom, Anthony tried holding the door closed with his body. The shooter fired through the door hitting Anthony 5 times, according to usatoday.com.
