29 Photos from the First Snow Fall in Rockford [PHOTOS]

I have to admit, this was probably the first time, in a long time, that I wasn't annoyed by snow. Most of my time was spent grumbling about my long commute, soaked and salt covered pant bottoms and horrible drivers; but over the last couple of days, I didn't experience any of that. I spent my weekend shoveling, snow plowing, four wheeling and indoors on the couch with cocoa and movies.

Some of that couch time included scrolling through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter and I wasn't surprised to see that all night Friday and all day Saturday my social media news feeds were filled with nothing but photos of the first snow storm of the season. Instead of searching for them all, I asked you to share yours and these are the results. (I didn't add my own because I didn't take any. For the very first time I was actually enjoying it, instead of grumbling about it.)
