While many 17-Year-Olds are out having fun, one of them is not only having fun but also creating something positive for Rockford residents to be proud up and tourists to enjoy.

Libbie Frost put in 34 hours over a six-day period to create her visioned #WeLoveRockford mural on the northeast corner of State Street bridge. When asked what inspired her to do to this, Libbie told Q98.5,

Rockford doesn’t have that many murals and doesn’t have any mural that says "Rockford" on it and I thought that be awesome to have in the community. So that’s what really inspired me to do that because I think every community should have some sort of public art that says the town name on it.

Don't forget to use the hashtag #weloverockford when you share your pics and selfies on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
