24 Thoughts I Had While Eating Beef-A-Roo Cheddar Fries for the First Time

Earlier this week I posted a video on our website of a random guy giving his review of Beef-A-Roo in Rockford; the one thing that people pointed out about his experience was that he made one mistake- he didn't get the cheese fries.  While discussing this on the air with Steve Shannon, I mentioned that I had never been to Beef-A-Roo. People freaked out and told me I needed to get there ASAP.

Peer pressure is an SOB, you know what I'm saying? So, today I finally went to Beef-A-Roo and had the cheese fries; here's what ran through my head as they were taken out of the greased up brown bag:

1. I should've gotten the large.

2. How do actually eat this? With my hands? A fork?

3. Oh, yeah, that's right, my boyfriend said I should use a fork.

4. It won't hurt if I just take a few of these ones off the top with my fingers.

5. Ooh, that cheddar cheese is HOT.

6. I think I just burned my chin; totally worth it. In fact I don't notice it anymore.

7. I love how there's crispy fries and soggy fries.

8. Mmmmmm....soggy fries are my favorite.

9. Did I just get cheddar cheese on my nose?

10. Uh-oh, I'm starting to get to the middle of the cup; will there be more cheese in the middle?

11. Yes! There's cheese in the middle too. Beef-A-Roo's got this.

12. There's only two things that might bake this a little better- bacon and chives.

13. Am I eating this too fast?

14. I'm definitely eating these too fast; I should really slow down and enjoy this.

15. But I'm so hungry.

16. Remember- you burned 700 calories in bootcamp to enjoy this experience...slow down.

17. If I inhaled these, and barely tasted it, that means they're calorie free, right?

18. Oh, who cares; these are frickin' delicious.

19. Shoot, I think I see the bottom of the cup. I'm kind of sad.

20. Is it normal to be sad when the fries are all gone?

21. Would people judge me if I licked the cheese out of the cup?

22. I don't care, I'm eating it.

23. My tongue isn't quite long enough to reach the bottom. Wonder if I have something to cut the cup open in here?

24. Yup, I should've gotten the large order.
