30 Needy Families In Rockford Will Receive Furniture This Week

The third annual Furniture for Families In Need Initiative is happening today, Thursday 12/21 & Friday 12/22. A local store will be delivering furniture for 30 needy families across the greater Rockford area all day.

Christmas time is one of my absolute favorite times of the year, due to the unmatched sense of giving to others.  Maybe it's just all that sense of joy and positivity that comes around once a year and Choice Furniture is making the holiday season better for 30 Rockford families in need. Choice Furniture will be joined by Police Cheif Daniel O'Shea delivering mattresses, beds, lift chairs, and other needed furniture for families in our community. The deliveries will take place from noon to 1 pm Thursday, December 21st, and Friday, December 22nd.

This is such a heartwarming act. Maybe you can't donate furniture to those in need but I'm challenging you this holiday season to just say hi to a stranger or hold the door open for someone. Little acts of kindness make this holiday season so special.
