5 Delicious Things You’ll Find at the Wisconsin State Fair

The Wisconsin State Fair opens up this week, and according to these photos, your taste buds will be really satisfied while you're there.  

State fairs go hand in hand with delicious food, but Wisconsin has got to have one of the most delicious fair food selections!

I went to Twitter to see what delicious photos I could find and let's just say the oatmeal I had for breakfast suddenly felt much less filling.

First, the undeniably amazing, cream puff. Crispy in the right places, creamy in the middle, bam, delicious.

Next, all the tots. Holy moly, this picture is amazing. Breakfast tots, pizza tots, nacho tots, tots on a stick! If you search for tots on the WI State Fair website, you'll get a list of 25 different tots. 

I can't get over this photo. IT IS A PRETZEL CONE. I would drive all over the country for a pretzel cone, so I'm pretty sure it's worth a quick drive to Wisconsin. It's not just a cone made of soft pretzel, it's filled to the brim with German deliciousness.

They also have pizza dough cones, which you can fill with your favorite toppings... including mac and cheese.

I believe there is a rule that when you are in Wisconsin, you have to eat a brat. Luckily there are brats galore at the fair, covered in every topping you could imagine. More pretzels too, pretzel rolls are life!

Finally, you need something to wash all that Wisconsin food down, and what's more summery than a giant pineapple drink?

Well, the answer to that is obviously a pineapple drink served in a pineapple. They have this same thing in the watermelon variety.

This year, the fair runs from August 4 to August 14, plenty of time to try everything they have to offer. Well, maybe that food list is huge!
