Posted on Reddit, titled "I'm putting myself out there by putting myself in here" reveals much about the person behind one of the most incredible pieces of a living time capsule I have ever seen.

Just three days ago, in the Home Decorating subreddit of the popular website a user named Global-Bus-8826 shared what the inside of their home looks like.

HOW THEY CAPTURED THAT 70s VIBE

Claiming they are from the Chicago suburbs and sharing that this is their first home the author of the post also said:

My collection of old stuff has grown over many decades, since I first moved away from home in the late 1980s. I don’t need to buy much of anything for my house anymore (as you can clearly see ha ha), but when I did, it came from any number of sources, including thrift, curbs, generous friends/neighbors/family/strangers, estate sales, flea markets, Craigslist…

The Reddit user also said they enjoy "modern conveniences and amenities but just love the aesthetic."

They would know, because the house has tons of it, the aesthetic that is.

THE HOUSE LOOKS AMAZING BUT DOES EVERYTHING WORK?

Also mentioned, the appliances work "perfectly" and they "lease out the space for a few hours here and there to folks needing set locations for films, etc."

If you're wondering, this person is a mom, married, and writer.

I have no clue who they are specifically, but I can tell you I was blown away. The same goes for others in Home Decorating saying:

It feels like an uncanny valley thing to me because its all an old style, but none of it has signs of wear & tear like it's old.

42 and in the bathroom! My grandma’s towels! I’m crying now. I miss her
