97ZOK's 'Wanna Be a ZJ' Contest Winner Co-Hosts Morning Show

James Bockover-McCormick aka 'Dubs' displayed many skills during his co-hosting gig on The Steve Shannon Show. See them all including his epic Beatbox Battle with Steve.

James, a freshman at Hononegah High School was the winner of our "Wanna Be A ZJ" contest. James' audition video was viewed more than anyone else's which earned him a 'one day only' co-hosting spot on The Steve Shannon Show.

James also challenged Steve to a Beatbox Battle after seeing an Instagram video with Steve and Mandy James. As you can see in the video below, James had ZERO TROUBLE winning the battle.

He shared one more talent, a musical talent that runs in the family. The night before coming in to co-host the morning show, James and his mother wrote and produced a song called Footsteps. James does all the music and his mom Rebecca handles the vocals.

This multi-talented young man is also on the Hononegah Varsity Swim Team (as a freshman). You can connect to James all over social media. He uses the moniker Altered Vizion, which is a reference to the fact that James is almost completely blind.
