Wisconsin Restaurant Called One of America’s Best ‘Hole-In-The-Wall’ Burger Joints

Wedl's Hamburger Stand located at 200 East Racine Street in Jefferson just an hour from Rockford is home to some of the best burgers around.

MSN thinks so too. Their "Best Hole-In-The-Wall Burger Joint In Every State" list features Wisconsin's Wedl's Hamburger Stand, saying:

"Wedl's takes 'hole in the wall' to new levels — it's a sidewalk shack that's been around for more than a century, cooking thin, smashed slider-style burgers on a griddle with lard and onions."

Sounds amazing. Word of warning though. Before you cruise up from Rockford to Jefferson, hold off.

Wedl's Hamburger Stand is closed for the winter. Wedl's opened for the season in 2018 in early March, it's fair to expect that we'll see the same thing this year.
