Just when you thought that cat people were the crazy ones.

I can't tell you how many times I've said to my own dog, in a baby voice, "Oh my gosh, I just love you death". You've probably said it to your furry friend a few thousand times as well; knowing that it's just a figure of speech. Or, that you will in fact love them until they die.

But what if you die first? Pets are like kids and any parent would want their kid to out live them, right?  Well that's not exactly the case for a woman in Indiana.

Connie Lay passed away last month and she left a very touching request in her will: she wants to be buried with her nine year old German Shepard, Bella. There's just one problem, Bella's still alive. Unfortunately, Ms. Lay's will stipulates that Bella “must be euthanized, cremated, and buried with her.”

Bella's safe for now. She was supposed to be euthanized on Tuesday but thanks to social media, the action was put on hold. Regardless, the outcome doesn't look good for her.  Ms. Lay's attorney says, "The dog was owned by my client and now it’s part of her estate, and those are her wishes, as far as the future of the dog is concerned. Outsiders don’t have the grounds to rewrite the provisions of my client’s will and impose what they want.”

Isn't this kind of selfish? #SaveBella
