A Planet Fitness Is Coming Soon to Belvidere

Get ready, Belvidere, the "No Judgement Zone" is coming your way soon!

An article from Fitworldspot.com says that Gina DelRose, Belvidere's community development planner, says;

 the franchise company has submitted “very preliminary” building plans, along with demolition permits to clear out a former Rent-A-Center, 122 S. State St., and take over some of the adjacent Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center.

Planet Fitness will be taking over about a quarter of the Salvation Army's current area, but the Army says they are "excited to have them as neighbors".

It is still very early in the construction and planning process for Belvidere's Planet Fitness location, so no time frame for opening has been provided yet.
