A mother received a note from her daycare stating that her nine-month old daughter was being 'aggressive' and was 'playing roughly' with her baby classmates.

Say what? Whatever happened to babies just being babies? Maybe I'm so far removed from understanding what it's like parenting small children because my son's almost 18 but I don't ever remember him being referred to as an aggressive baby; especially by a child care provider. In fact, he was an aggressive child, and I got plenty of letters from school about his behavior, but the word aggressive wasn't used until he was at least five.

Babble, that has moms outraged.  In the note, a daycare provider says nine-month old, Samantha, was "playing roughly and aggressively with other the other babies.."

One expert does say that there's something to this. Dr. Adelle Cadieux told Babble that the notion of an aggressive baby isn't as crazy as you might think. She says, "Kids go through that stage where they just to see want cause and effect: ‘If I do this, this happens." Sure, ok, I can see that, but maybe the day care teacher should've sat down with this mom and talked about it; it would've been way more productive.
