Active Shooter Report at Crusader Clinic in Rockford

Police are responding to a report of an active shooter situation at Rockford's Crusader Clinic.The Rockford Register Star is reporting that police personnel are at the scene at this hour.

The newspaper also says that there have been no reports of any injuries reported. All employees have evacuated the building.

Crusader Clinic employees indicated to the paper the suspected gunman is not an employee of the clinic

Police from area law enforcement agencies converged on Crusader Clinic shortly after 2 p.m. when a call reporting an "active shooter," was made. Several blocks are closed on Broadway as police negotiate with the suspect.
