AMC Rockford Announces Best Picture Showcase Dates

The Oscar nominations were announced earlier this week, and if you haven't seen any of the best picture nominees yet, AMC is giving you a chance.

AMC's yearly Best Picture Showcase dates and films were announced today along with the opportunity to buy tickets.

On Saturday, February 18 at AMC 16 on E. State Street, they will show Manchester By The Sea, Fences, Hell or High Water, and La La Land.

The following Saturday, February 25, you can see Moonlight, Lion, Arrival, Hidden Figures, and Hacksaw Ridge.

If you consider yourself a movie buff but never have the time to sit and devote a few hours a day to get caught up on all the Best Picture Nominees, the Best Picture Showcase takes care of it.

I've gone to the all day event for the past four years, but only for one day. However, I plan on going to both days this year.

They do giveaways and nearly every year in attendance, I've won something.
