Apple is Petitioned to Honor Prince with an Emoji. Sign It!

It's been just over a week since the greatest musician who has ever lived left this world. And now he needs to be an emoji we can use to strengthen our funky texting game.

At change.org, Minnesota Prince fan Erik Bartsch is petitioning Apple to create an emoji in Prince's honor.

Prince was a revolutionary artist of all media. His plethora of musical work and legendary film "Purple Rain" are touchstones of pop culture as we know it today. As we all know Prince changed his name to a symbol for many years due to copyright issues. This symbol can represent in a single emoji everything Prince means to so many. Apple, "Think Different", make a Prince emoji.
