Auburn High School Grad Opens for Nelly

One of the things I miss most about living in Minnesota is the live music scene; most of my weekends were spent at small, intimate venues waiting for the artists to come off stage so I could buy them a drink and get a little hang time after the show. One of those musicians, Atmosphere, has gone on to find fame around the country and the world.

That could be the next step for Auburn High School grad, Ashley Armelin, who, according to WIFR, opened for Nelly at the Coronado last night (October 9th). 

Ashleye also talked with the Rockford Area Conventions and Visitors Bureau about some of her favorite things about the Forest City and what she enjoys doing most with her family and friends when she has a little downtime. You can read more here.
