Beer Yoga in Chicago is a Thing, it Needs to Come to Rockford

Two of my girlfriend's favorite things (besides me) are beer and yoga. And when she reads this I will be alone at the #1 position.

Apparently Beer Yoga is the latest international craze. It started in Germany, spread to Australia, and is now pretty much everywhere, including Chicago. And although it hasn't quite made it to Rockford yet, I can see that happening in the near future. If you are currently taking a yoga class somewhere locally, I would encourage you to ask your instructor about this. Maybe we can make it happen.

So what is Beer Yoga you may ask? The title seems pretty self explanatory. I would be totally down for taking a class if I liked beer. Sadly, I don't. Now if there was a class called Vodka Yoga, I would be there in a heartbeat. The workout is being referred to as 'the marriage of two great loves' as beer and yoga are referenced as century old therapies for the mind, body, and soul, according to mashable.com. Wow, I don't think I've heard that said about beer before.
