It wasn't too long ago that a popular clothing line that's making moms rich and making it's way to the top of the fashion food chain here in Rockford was in the limelight; and not in a good way.

LuLaRoe was coming under fire for shoddy business practices and even shoddier garb. Customers came forward saying they were ripping and tearing after just one wear, some only had them on for a few hours.

One local rep was so confident in the legging's quality and knew she could prove the complainers wrong that she brought me my very own pair to try.

After hearing that I wanted to know what the hype was all about, Kaytie Kuczkowski stopped by with a pair of safety-pinned-covered, one-size-fits-all, leg wear; I couldn't wait to try them on.

And in case you missed my original review, I'll say this- it took me a minute to appreciate them. When I first put them on, I thought there were defective because the seam went up my quadriceps; it was my boyfriend who helped me figure out that I just had to twist them a little so the seams ran down the side. Face palm.

Once I finally had them on right, I didn't want to take them off; it was like I was wearing nothing and all I did was encourage Jason to touch my butt and legs with them on. It took going out in public to take them off, though. LuLaRoe's outrageous patterns are cute, but I'm not sure I want to be seen at Johnny Pamcakes with them on.

Overall, it was a great experience and I might buy more in the future; but there are thousands of women who had the complete opposite experience. Business Insider says some women claimed their leggings ripped "like toilet wet paper."

Now with the company at the end of their roll with these complaints, they've decided to launch a massive refund program. Any disgruntled customer who purchased their merchandise between January 1, 2016 and April 24, 2017, is eligible to get their money back.

You can either get a refund from your "independent retailer" or go through the company's website here.
