Everybody dreams of a White Christmas but how do you feel about a bit of snow before the big day?

That's how it's looking at the moment according to WIFR.

A picture on the WIFR Facebook page reveals the first real snowfall chance for Rockford and the surrounding areas will happen late "Friday night into Saturday morning."

The forecast is calling for 1" to 2" of snow for us in the area while Wisconsin and the northeast corner of Illinois could be looking at a few more inches of the white stuff.

Snowfall does indeed make the season feel a bit more complete but, snow in January or February or any other month of the year is just obnoxious.
