Last night I had to most interestingly hilarious conversation with my boyfriend, Jason, about superheros.

I was telling him about a conversation that Steve Shannon and I were having with a friend of ours about the movie Logan, featuring the Marvel Comics character, Wolverine.

Steve and I have never seen any of the X-Men or Wolverine films and we both assumed that the young mutant in the film was not only the title character; we thought she was Wolverine's daughter. (If you're a fan of the films, you're probably laughing right...about...now.)

Jason was laughing too and basically patted me on the top of the head with a "there, there, it's not your fault that you don't know anything" look on his face and explained to me that I would actually love the films and that Wolverine would quickly become my favorite superhero because...are you ready for this? His words exactly, "because you're dating him, baby. I am Wolverine."

Now I'm laughing, but there is something to be said about a man's man who's a little redneck and rough around the edges; and if that's just a couple of ways to describe Wolverine, then he probably would be my favorite superhero.

Who's yours? Do you have one?

Decluttr used Google search data to determine what superheros each state loves the most and for Illinois, it was Daredevil.
