An exhibit just opened at Midway Village Museum chronicling the diverse history of fighting fires in Rockford and it's a must see.

As wifr.com stated, it really is hard to believe that the Rockford Fire Department has been protecting the people of Rockford, Il for so long. The new exhibit at Midway Village Museum features much of the equipment and tools that have been used to fight fires over the last 160 years.
