Want to take the kids fishing but don't have the gear? No worries. Just Head over the Cherry Valley Public Library and get yourself a fishing pole and tackle before you head to the river today.

Yep, I just said head to the library to get a fishing pole. No, I am not confused. As of July 13, 2017, the Cherry Valley Public Library has fishing equipment available to check out because they get how important it is to get kids active outdoors and off the couch and game counsels.

Card holders at Cherry Valley Library are able to check out a fishing pole and tackle box for a week thanks to the genius idea and generosity of Boy Scout Troop 181 according to WIFR.

There are 14 poles and 12 tackle boxes available for check out at the Cherry Valley Library, and any kid 14 and over whose library membership is in good standing can use them today.

Have some fun fishin' in the dark this weekend!
