I don't want to brag about my Minnesota Wild or anything, but they are on fire right now; and hopefully after what they accomplished on Tuesday, this will be good karma for them to do well in the playoffs.  But who am I kidding, I know how the post season usually ends up for my favorite hockey team, so I'm holding my applause until they beat the Blackhawks in a playoff game.

Their win against the Blackhawks on Tuesday will be enough for now; because it was a historic win for the Wild. Their 5th straight win against one of their biggest rivals marks the first time a team has swept the Blackhawks with five or more games in 80 years.

To add insult to injury, Blackhawks defenseman, Duncan Keith, is facing a lengthy suspension after he swung his stick at Wild forward Charlie Coyle. His suspension could last into the playoffs.

Take a look at the hit; watch carefully because it happens fast.

Best of luck to both teams in the post season. There's only 5 games left in the regular season and if the Blackhawks are going to make it, they have to remember that play like this won't get them very far.
