Chicago Cubs’ Javier Baez is Getting a Special Honor from City
The City of Chicago has special plans this week for the Chicago Cubs second baseman. Plus a great opportunity for fans.
This Tuesday (4/11), come see Javier along with Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and other city officials for the unveiling of "Javier 'Javy' Baez Way" in Chicago's Humboldt Park Neighborhood, the center of the city's Puerto Rican community. 'Javy' was the only Puerto Rican on the roster when the Cubs won the series.
According to chicago.suntime.com, the World Series trophy will also be on display with a photo op for the first 500 fans in attendance.
