We've had the Cubs and Sox for years, but there's a new team in town.

The Chicago Dogs.

Because if anything can bring the North and South side together, it's hot dogs without ketchup.

I feel like I recall hearing about a new baseball team in Rosemont, but I definitely forgot about it.

The team is part of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, which sounds super fake but I think it's real.

Opening Day isn't until May of 2018, but the team is already counting down the days and celebrated today's team  name announcement with, you guessed it, free hot dogs.

As long as the tickets are reasonably priced, I will definitely cheer on the Dogs next summer!

But I really like ketchup.
