If you're single and you live here, you're in luck.

"The Great Love Debate" was in Chicago last week and named the Windy City the best city for dating out of the 78 different cities the show visited.

Wait. What is "The Great Love Debate?"  According to their website, it's "A unique, interactive Town Hall-style event where leading local experts and an excited, engaged audience will dish, discuss, dissect and debate the current state of the date."

How'd they figure out Chicago was the best for dating? Over the past couple of years, "The Great Love Debate" have cobbled together information and according to the Chicago Tribune, the winning city was based "on attractiveness and diversity of population, sense of civic pride, confidence within the dating community and vibrancy of social scene."

A former Chicagoan myself, I can totally see why Chicago is a great spot for dating. However, I was surprised to see it called the "best."

The top 5 "Cities Best For Dating" include:

  1. Chicago, IL
  2. Lexington, KY
  3. Charlotte, NC
  4. Washington, D.C.
  5. Denver, CO

What do you think? What is the best city for dating? Where should Rockford rank on this list?
