‘Clear the Shelters’ 2017 Aims to Find All Pets a ‘Fur’ever Home

Where all my animal lovers at? Something really cool is happening in Rockford and across the United States on August 19th, 2017.

Winnebago county Animal Services is participating in a nationwide event called Clear the Shelters. The event will air on NBC television stations and will include over 700 animal shelters across the country. This is the first time our shelter will be participating in the event. Over 50,000 animals found their furever homes during last year's televised event. If you have been looking for the perfect little furry addition to your family, I would definitely check this event out. I don't know how your heart could say no.
