UPDATE: You'll never get the answer to a question unless you ask. Steve and I discussed this photo on the air this morning and asked if anyone knew this man's story.  We now have more information about the gentleman in the photo below. We learned that he and his wife are disabled, the wife has had several surgeries on her legs and the man suffers from a seizure condition, which is why they both wear protective gear; and the red wagon is for the food they get from the food pantry. It's a sad situation. Now that we know the story, maybe the next time you're downtown and you see him or them, there might be something you can do to help; or you'll look at them differently than I did at first.

You already know there's some interesting characters roaming around Rockford. This city of full of great places to people watch; especially downtown. For the last few months, as I'm heading to the gym, I've seen the same guy at least once every three to four weeks; and I'm always asking myself "who is that guy?" Then I got really curious when I saw him with a female who was sporting a similar outfit to his - knee pads, shin guards and elbow pads. Was this is girlfriend?

I am so intrigued. Have you seen this guy around Rockford? Do you know who he is or what his story is?
