The way this story ends sent chills down our spines. The idea of this military captain's head haunting spaces around Stillman Valley is nightmarish.

Captain John Giles Adams was a cavalry officer in the Illinois Militia during the Black Hawk War of 1832. On April 17, 1832, Captain Adams and several of his company were killed while trying to make a stand on a hillside during the Battle of Stillman's Run.

Ghost Hunter Dan Norvell shares an experience his team had while shooting pictures with their thermal camera near the battlefield. It's what they believe happened to Captain Adams in that battle and why their camera captured just his head that really sent our chills into overdrive.
