It may feel like Spring in Rockford today, but there's some snow a'coming tomorrow.

Not in a Game Of Thrones, "Winter Is Coming" kind of way, but more like a "Winter Isn't Quite Over And Mother Nature Wants To Remind Us Who Really Calls The Shots" way.

Long story short, snow is expected to drop in Rockford according to multiple sources.

Illinois Storm Chasers say rain tonight "with a changeover to snow possible on Thursday afternoon across northern Ilinois."

A graphic shared on the Illinois Storm Chasers website shows anywhere from 2 to 4 inches of snow, but as of right now it's anyone's guess.

We might get nothing by way of snowfall and it might just rain a whole lot and no one will complain and we'll just get on with Spring, and really, that's what we all want.

So no snowfall should be considered a win-win. Let's just hope Mother Nature plays along.
