We double-dare you not to love this – one of Nickelodeon’s greatest game shows is officially oozing back onto TV. The network confirms new episodes of ‘80s-‘90s classic Double Dare will arrive as early as this summer.

Per Nickelodeon’s announcement, Double Dare will debut the first of 40 (!) new episodes at an undetermined point this summer, featuring “a new generation of trivia, stunts, wringers, hamster wheels and nose picking.” The new rendition will include classic gameplay and challenges, plus “appearances from blasts from the past and stars from today.” For those unfamiliar with the classic Nick show that ran from 1986 to 1993, here’s the official synopsis:

Double Dare features two teams competing to win prizes by answering brain-bending trivia questions, completing messy, physical stunts and ultimately facing the infamous obstacle course–the human hamster wheel; the classic gigantic mouth; the wringer; and the iconic Double Dare nose.

Double Dare was also Nickelodeon’s longest-running game show, and eventually reemerged as Family Double Dare in 1988 and Super Sloppy Double Dare in 1989. Nickelodeon previously attempted to reboot the series with Double Dare 2000.
