End To End Rainbow Photo Snapped In Rockford

Despite calls for a potentially wet weekend in the Rockford area, it was almost perfect.

With only one exception, a pretty vigorous rain fall late Saturday afternoon.

While the rain didn't last long and certainly didn't damper any Memorial Day celebrations, it did produce a couple of stunning photos of the aftermath.

I was out of town for most of the weekend in nearby Dixon, but while my family and I were driving back home we too spotted the massive rainbow.

We only caught a small glimpse, while Bumblebee243122 managed to get the whole shot.
