You're so skinny, why don't you eat seven more meatballs?

Because, grandma. I'm actually not that skinny... because I already ate 14 raviolis, and nine pieces of bread and I had chicken Parmesan for lunch.

One of my grandma's most famous sayings is, "if you don't have leftovers, you didn't have enough food."

For most people, that's not really true, in fact, if you don't have leftovers, maybe you had the perfect amount of food, but not Italians. We have to eat and then pick at those leftovers an hour later over our third glass of wine in the kitchen.

While being Italian is mostly about food, that's not everything. It's also about being loud and feeling guilt. Like when Sweet Lenny and I are "arguing" about something and the entire sales department can hear it, it's just because we are Italian.

Also, like when this grandma tells her granddaughter that she can die once she's married. I haven't heard that exact phrase from my own grandma, but very similar ideas... and my mom is getting to that level too, us Italian women, sure know how to make someone feel guilty.

Let me know how you like the video, I'm gonna go buy ingredients to make six hour sauce.
