If you've ever been tagged in a Facebook post, you probably should check this out.

According to Dreama Jensen, the Northern Indiana director of the Better Business Bureau, there is a new scam called "malicious tagging."

This happens when you are tagged in a post along with dozens of other people.

The scam starts after you click on the post. You will get prompted to download a Flash player update before you can watch the video inside the post.

The file that you download isn't the update, but malware. The malware you download then searches your computer for banking information stored on your machine.

Yikes! The malware also sends the same scam out to more of your friends. So not only are you getting ripped off, but you are also sending your friends on Facebook to face the same fate.

Jensen laid out a few things to look out for and stay away from when clicking on Facebook posts. Buzzwords like "exclusive," "shocking" or "sensational" when descirbing the video in the post.

You also need to be aware of shortened links. Jensen says "scammers use link-shortening services to disguise malicious links"

The best thing you can do is be careful on Facebook. If it seems fishy, it probably is.
