Some British fans feel bad for the horror they experienced so they've started a campaign to get the band a #1 on the U.K. singles chart this week. You can help.

Fans Want Eagles of Death Metal to Get a #1 Song After Paris Attacks

As Eagles of Death Metal was performing, the attackers entered and started shooting, killing 89 audience members and leaving others critically injured. The band members were able to escape unharmed.

Fans started the campaign on Saturday in the aftermath of the attacks to show solidarity against terrorism and support for peace.

To help, just download Eagles of Death Metal's cover of the Duran Duran song Save a Prayer before midnight on Thursday. And now Simon Le Bon from Duran Duran said they'll donate all proceeds they get from the sales.

This week's UK singles chart will be announced on Friday. Sales and streaming from last Friday until this Thursday at midnight will be counted toward the result.
