If you were a musician or played in a band, why wouldn't you want to play at Wrigley Field?

The Chicago Cubs won the World Series, and Wrigley Field was just named one of the happiest places on Earth, so there's a couple of good reasons.

Besides that, Wrigley Field itself is a great outdoor venue for live music.

I saw Foo Fighters at Wrigley Field a couple of years ago and it ranks up there as one of the best shows I've ever seen.

Now that Green Day has signed on to do a show at Wrigley, I'm pretty sure I'll be headed there again this summer to see live music.

If Green Day isn't your thing, here's a full list of who's playing at Wrigley Field and when.

  • Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - June 29
  • Dead & Company - June 30 & July 1
  • James Taylor - July 17
  • Billy Joel - August 11
  • Green Day - August 24
  • Zac Brown Band - August 26

Tickets to see Green Day go on sale tomorrow, January 20 at 10 a.m.
