The only good thing about missing Bite Nite is that you can still find these Rockford foods around town.

This past Saturday, Bite Nite took over the City Market Pavilion.

With loads of Rockford restaurants and food trucks, there was no shortage of deliciousness in downtown Rockford.

Now, if you missed Bite Nite, you should be a little sad, because it was awesome. However, you should be happy we took pictures for you so you can enjoy these five great foods on your own time.

The Olive Branch's Street Fries - our judge buddy, Rachel Rockford Cravings snapped this incredible photo of these unique street fries, which are fries topped with gyro meat, feta cheese, kalamata olives, greek spices and oil and vinegar.

The Sandwich Factory's Ribs - there's something seriously delicious going on with The Sandwich Factory's ribs. The meat is great, the bread is perfectly toasted, but the real reason you want to try these ribs is the sauce. BBQ perfection.

Lucha Cantina's Elote Dog - I'm pretty sure you could fill a pretzel hot dog bun with anything and I would love it, but there's something about the elote combo that screams, yum! The hot dog is wrapped in bacon and topped with mayo, roasted corn, paprika & cilantro and was the winner of the judges favorite at Bite Nite.

Cantina Tacos from Stewart Eatery - if you love authentic, fresh tacos, you have to try these little delicious guys. The tacos are super affordable and versatile, choose from pork, chicken, steak, black beans, chorizo or shrimp.

Hey Brothers Ice Cream - you'd think after eating everything in sight we wouldn't be able to also eat entire ice cream cones, but we did. The butter pecan was perfectly creamy and the waffle cone was just as perfect and crisp. Rachel had the mint chip and Lenny had fried ice cream and every bite was delicious.

So if you missed out on Saturday, forgive yourself and get out and try these Bite Nite favorites!

If you did come, we hope you had a blast, just like we did.
