More roadwork is planned for next week according to Eyewitness news. Starting Monday, construction between 173 and Forest Hills Road will begin and should last about forty days.

Impostor In The Area

WTVO is reporting that Rockford police is putting out an alert about a water employee impostor that visited a house on the southeast side. The man identified himself as a water division employee and was there to do testing. He then told the resident that he owed money and asked for a payment. Police are saying the suspect wasn't wearing a uniform or had a badge. If you see any suspicious activity, you are urged to call 9-1-1.

Who knew that salt had so many uses! The next time you have fresh cut flowers, add some salt to the vase, it will help them stay fresh longer. Also, your goldfish love the white stuff! Put them in some salt water for about 15 minutes then return them to the aquarium. They'll be happier and healthier.
