Forget Slurpee Day, 7 Eleven is Celebrating Slurpee Week

We may be 25 minutes away from a 7Eleven over here, but that won't stop us from slurping on some sweet Slurpees this week.

Whether you live in a city where 7Eleven stores are on every corner, or you have to take a road trip to get some Slurpee action, this is the week to make that trip.

For the past few years, 7Eleven has celebrated today, July 11 with free Slurpees, but this year they're doing even more than just today's freebie.

In addition to celebrating that today is '7-11,' it's also the Slurpee's 50th birthday.
