McDonald's did it again. First they started bottling their Big Mac sauce, now they've reinvented the straw.

Seriously, how did no one think of this yet?

With the addition of four new Shamrock Shake options this St. Patrick's Day season, we're all pretty excited.

But throw in a brand new straw engineered just for the Shamrock Shakes, amazing.

Here's the problem. There are only 2,000 straws out there. We aren't exactly sure why McDonald's didn't make a bunch of these, they seem like they'd sell pretty well... but they didn't so you have to take a trip to score one.

According to Food Beast, you're going to have to do a little traveling to get your hands on one.

If you're not busy this afternoon, jump in the car right now because the straws will be in Alabama, California, Georgia, Idaho, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Utah today only.

Fast forward to next Wednesday, March 1, and hop on a plane for one of these bad boys, which will be available in one McDonald's location in Danville, Pennsylvania.

Geography is NOT my strong suit... but I think you can make it to Minnesota by tonight?

Good luck, and may the force of the straw be with you... I'm not good at Physics either, I think maybe that's the force of your lungs.
