Not too long ago, I got a ticket for talking on the phone while I was driving; of course I just picked it up and I was a block away from my house and couldn't catch a break.

I was given a ticket, was told by the Winnebago County courts that they would dismiss that ticket it if I came back with a valid Illinois drivers license; I did was I was told, reappeared in court and they didn't keep their end of the bargain.  Hmph.

About two months after that appearance my insurance went up $20...just for talking on the phone for 3.2 seconds.  Yes, I know it's illegal, but isn't that a little steep? I could maybe understand if it was speeding or caused an accident, but dang Progressive.

It might be time to look for a new car insurance provider.

Here's a good place to start.

Dustin Diamond was in Rockford to film seven commercials for the Insurance King in January; here's the first one.

I can't wait to see the rest of them.
