Instead of using the standard "Garage Sale" sign that you'd find at any local hardware store or home improvement center,

these homeowners got crafty and creative with their very own celebrity sale signs. They were being shared all over social media over the weekend.

And the signs appeared to be working. I drove by their house on Sunday and you couldn't even find a place to park; the yard and driveway was filled with people looking for bargains...and Lionel Richie.

If you're thinking of having a garage sale this spring or summer, skip the conventional sign and make your own; surely everyone in town will want to see what all the hype is about. I know I did.
