First dates. You gotta love them. My friends have always told me that I should write a book about my dating experiences, and one of these days, I just might. I already know what my first chapter will be... First Date Disasters.

I had a lot of first dates, and not a lot of seconds, and there's a good reason for that. Some of those guys looked good on TV, like the news anchor that I dated...once. Others were blind dates such as the Chicago Bomb Squad guy that had a strong resemblance to Quasimodo. I'm still trying to figure out why my so called "friends" thought that was a good idea. None the less I was a little taken back when I saw him but had hope he had a personality to make up for his interesting looks, but I had no luck. For obvious reasons, there was definitely no second date.

I didn't have a lot of luck with second dates, but at least I have the stories to tell.  My personal war stories per-say.

I found a survey that asked people the rudest thing that someone can do on a first date that would turn them off enough not to have a second. Here's what they had to say-

-61% said that it was a turn off when the other person ordered their food for them

-Noisy eating, according to 56% was not worthy of a second date

-45% admitted there was no second date when the other posted on social media during the date

We also asked our Facebook crew about First Date Disasters... HILARIOUS!

But then again, a second date might be worth it. Look at my husband for instance. On our first date, he didn't have enough money to pay for dinner and had to leave me to find money. He was gone forever. You'd think there would be no second date after that, but I gave him another chance and now we've been together 10 years. So, sometimes taking a chance on a second date is worth it!
