Referring to the final meal of the day as "dinner" or "supper" usually depends on where you grew up. At least that's what I think. So what is it? Do you call it "dinner" or "supper?"

According to Dictionary.com, there are a few small but noticeable differences.

  • "Supper" is a light evening meal - served in early evening.
  • "Dinner" is the main meal of the day, served either in the evening or at midday.

Dinner during the midday? Nah. We call that "lunch."

So I walked around the radio ranch to find out what people call it, "dinner" or "supper" and much to my surprise it was split down the middle.

It's the final meal of the day, what do you call it? Tell us!
