Everyone loves pizza, but we don't all eat it the same way.

Last week we found out how we put on our bras says something about us, and this week, it's the way we eat pizza.

Pizza. It has all of the food groups including my favorite, red sauce. It's covered in gooey cheese and is the food that brings the world together.

It is really tough to write this right now without pizza in front of me.

There are plenty of difference ways to eat pizza, and according to Patti Wood (same woman from the bra study), our pizza eating technique shows the world who we are.

The study is based on the DiSC profile, which gives us just four types of people we can be. Maybe you fit in, maybe you don't, but you'll probably have another slice of pizza this weekend and think about it.

Time to dive in.

  1. Folding Your Slice. Do you fold your pizza before you eat it? I've only done this in New York or when I was so hungry that I needed as much pizza in my stomach as possible. If you do this regularly, you're a driver. You're not messing around, you're not wasting time, you are getting this pizza eaten, stat! You want to always be the very best.
  2. Eating The Crust First. Again, I've done this before, but only when the whole stuffed crust phenomenon of the late 90s set in. Don't lie, you were doing it too. If you eat your pizza like this all the time, you like to be different. You're an influencer. You like to set trends, be loud and dramatic, and you're not afraid to be yourself.
  3. Using a Fork and Knife. Man, I've done this before too! But usually just with legit Chicago style pizza when I'm eating it in front of people who I don't want to look like a cow in front of. With my family, I can just dig in, but at a baby shower or a party, I tried to hide the "messy" Michelle pizza eating and use the utensils. Fork and knife pizza eaters are supporters. They are stable friends, they make sure everyone has a plate full of food before they eat theirs, you host parties and you have a routine you stick to.
  4. Grab and Bite. Dig in. Yep. This is me usually, and I would assume most of you, right? Like when someone gives me pizza, I just pick it up and eat it, small end of the triangle first. This makes me a careful corrector. We take pizza eating seriously, we have mastered the art of the pizza and we're perfectionists.

Ok. So... I was totally on board for the whole, "How do you put your bra on," discussion. I was a driver and I totally agreed with that.

After reading about this pizza study and thinking that I fit in the careful corrector category I'm not so sure. But then again I am a perfectionist when it comes to some things.

Pretty sure I'll still eat pizza again no matter what this says about me.
