My neverending hunt to find the best cheeseburger in America has found a serious contender for best in Illinois.

This burger is called the Bad Burger, but from the sound and appearance of things, that couldn't be further from the truth.

At the Little Bad Wolf, they make a mean cheeseburger. That's not all; they've got tacos and bao on the menu, but the burgers are what get people talking.

The Little Bad Wolf menu describes the Bad Burger as "two patties with two slices of American cheese, house-made pickles, and red-onion mayo."

While that might sound like a ho-hum burger experience, rest assured it is not.

LoveFood says the "rich and cheese double-patty burger" at Little Bad Wolf is "always a winner," and "customers swear there must be a secret ingredient that makes it taste so good."

Not everyone has had the same experience at Little Bad Wolf. Jackie V. said when they "ordered the 'bad burger,' it was just that...so disappointing. It was the saltiest burger."
