Who knew standardized testing could be so fun?

I remember dreading standardized tests while in school. Maybe the reason why I wasn't excited was that I didn't have my teachers create their own rendition of Bruno Mars hit, 24K Magic to pump me up.

That would've done the trick then, and to be honest, I think I'm ready to take the test now.

Props to the third grade teachers at Freedom Elementary School in Plainfield who created the video to help get their kids excited when for upcoming PARCC testing.

According to Patch.com, "the third-grade team put the video together 'to help pump up students and staff in our building/district for the PARCC standardized tests (or at least give them a laugh during what can be a stressful time).'"

Uploading a cover of Bruno Mars, 24K Magic by a group of teachers takes a lot of guts. In this instance, it shows just how far teachers will go to get the best out of their students.
