Keep in mind, this is the same high school that in September of 2015 had a different issue with student dress code.

Nine months ago, it was students rallying around a student who was sent home from McHenry West High School for showing "too much shoulder."

Now, the same students are rallying around Megan Howerton. Howerton, a McHenry West student graduated early, and enlisted with the U.S. Marines.

NBC 5 News reports, Howerton had planned on coming back to the school to walk with the rest of her class on graduation day. However, things went sideways when word got out that Howerton was going to wear her dress blues during the ceremony.

When the school district heard that Howerton wasn't going to wear the cap and gown she was banned from the ceremony. The NW Herald says "According to Marine regulations, however, "No part of a prescribed uniform, except those items not exclusively military in character, will be worn with civilian clothing."

Howerton didn't walk with the rest of her students during last nights graduation ceremony, and social media has come to the support of her using the #letmeganwalk.
